About the Campaign

For more than 20 years, WBL has supported women executives in health care and life sciences. We have helped many of them reach their full potential.

Now, it's our opportunity to invest in new and exciting initiatives that will propel WBL into the future and ensure  that the next generation of women leaders have access to these same tools to help them thrive in today's modern world.

The initial focus of the WBL Boundless Campaign is two-fold: a Research Collaborative that builds on existing research and supports women in health care advancing in the C-Suite and boardroom, and a Leadership Accelerator that brings a diversity of voices and perspectives to the table and enables women who may not have access to WBL programs the opportunity to participate.

History of the campaign

Twenty-two years ago, a small group of senior executive women from the U.S. health care and life sciences industry came to Washington, D.C. to form a network of such senior executive women from all parts of the health care and life sciences industry. The purpose of this network was to improve relationships amongst these women across industry sectors and to increase their visibility to serve on corporate boards. By accomplishing this mission, WBL would improve the U.S. health care and life sciences industry.

Since then, WBL has grown to a network of 3,000 with more than 1000 active members. We have supported each other in so many ways and have helped populate corporate board rooms with women from the health care industry.

How will we ensure this resource will be here for the next generation? How will we ensure we are achieving the most we can today?

The future of WBL requires a deeper level of understanding and the ability to open new doors for women leaders in health care. By understanding the pathways and barriers to the c-suite and the boardroom, WBL can exponentially expand on our mission and provide targeted resources to those with potential. To those who will lead the future of WBL.

Join us as we connect and convene a group of members who, like me, are intensely grateful for the opportunities WBL has afforded us.

Together, let’s pay it forward.

Best Regards,

Lynn
